For the sake of convenience, I buy most of my software (at least that for which my company is not an authorized reseller) from the computer superstore I happen to be visiting at the time I'm in the mood to purchase. Until Egghead closed its retail outlets in early 1998, I was a regular visitor of their local operations. Occasionally I visit Software, Etc. but most of the time when I'm looking for something specific, I turn to the software publisher's web site or the following sources.
